Cheruiyot Awarded 2016 HHMI International Student Research Fellowship

We are pleased to announce that Abigael Cheruiyot, graduate student in Dr. Zhongsheng You’s lab, has been selected as a 2016 Howard Hughes Medical Institute International Student Research Fellow.  

HHMI awards research fellowships to 20 predoctoral students from 14 countries to help them complete their graduate studies in the U.S.  This highly competitive fellowship recognizes exceptional academic and personal achievements of predoctoral students and reflects HHMI’s confidence in Abby’s potential to become a leader in academic science.
